Dear Von,
What a great visit to Freemasons Hall and the meal after. So much to organise and yet a very smoothly run event. C2 has been my passport to enjoying and sharing John's year as the Master of his Livery. So many absolutely lovely ladies and some gentlemen who are great company at all the formal gatherings we are invited to. And your arranged gatherings are so constructive in breaking shyness as each individual enters their year. So thank you and Claire Chitty together with your Committee for making C2 a required membership for every prospective Warden, be they male or female. Amanda (Walsham ) Dear Von
Thank you and all the committee, and especially Patrick, for organising a most interesting tour of Freemasons’ Hall, and lunch. A most enjoyable day. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Warmest wishes Philippa Dear Claire
Just a follow up note to thank you again on behalf of everyone who helped arrange and support the visit to Freemasons' Hall yesterday and the pub lunch afterwards. What a wonderful building, so rich in history, such magnificent and unique architecture and with such a deep significance to the Freemasons themselves. And a special thank you to Past Master Baker Patrick Wilkins for his insight into the building, and the society, which made the whole event so much more than just a simple visit to the hall. Many thanks and many thanks too for all the ongoing work that so many people are doing behind the scenes on newletters, websites, events etc. Best wishes Phyllida Dear Claire,
Thank you so much for organising a fascinating tour yesterday, of Freemasons Hall. I learnt so much and met so many interesting people at lunch- a much appreciated first visit for me! with thanks to all concerned, and best wishes Christine (Barbers) Dear Claire,
Thankyou for the recent tour of the Freemasons hall,it was very interesting . The building is extremely grand and at times overwhelming in the scale of the rooms particularly the grand hall . The guide was so willing to answer questions and the general feeling of enlightenment and sharing came through. I also had not appreciated the scale of charitable giving in such practical ways that took place. Altogether a very enlightening experience for me. The lunch after a wobbly start was a great success ,and thankyou for accommodating the early leavers. Thankyou again Kind regards Lesley Batchelor ( Turners) Hi Claire
Just wanted to say that the tour of Freemasons Hall was incredibly interesting and what a beautiful building. I met some really friendly other consorts too. Please pass my thanks onto the organisers. I have been reading the tips section on the website and they are really very good. So thank you for those too. Kind regards Adele Davis 29/4/2018 Consorts' Livery Hall Walk 18 April 2018Dear Angie,
What a wonderful time we had this afternoon! It was so very interesting, and so very enjoyable. We were looked after beautifully, very well fed and watered, and I learnt so much. And how blessed we were with the perfect weather, all of course your doing! It obviously required an enormous amount of planning and organisation, and you did that perfectly. Thank you so much, it was all fabulous, and I met old friends, and made new ones, that is what it is all about! Hoping to see you soon, all best wishes, Iona 29/4/2018 Consorts' Livery Hall Walk 18 April 2018Dear Angie,
What a day! You organised superb weather, delicious lunch (especially those fudge brownies) and a great guide in Sean. We saw so many different buildings and were given interesting information about each without being overloaded – perfect! I have warned J about the walk (I must admit to feeling a bit footsore!) but said he must go on it if he can, when he becomes Master. It is such a good way to get to know both the Halls and people; I had some lovely conversations as we explored the City! Thank you again, it was a great day! Thank you so much for organising such an enjoyable City Walk for us on Tuesday this week. It was so well thought out, instructive…and safe!! I particularly liked seeing all the various gardens and the commentary was very informative. Please thank all who assisted you in making our day such a success…and for organising the weather! The sandwich lunch was delicious and well-earned. Kindest regards, Sue 29/4/2018 Consorts' Livery Hall Walk 17 April 2018Hi Angie
Thanks so much for organising yesterday. It was brilliant – not only to see the Halls but also to meet people and have a chat – probably did more of that and will need to go around the halls again! It was nice to meet you though obviously we didn’t have a chance to chat, but hopefully will do next time. City Consorts is certainly making a difference to me and I am not even mistress yet!! Thanks again for organising it All the best Marilyn |
